HUNTER GATHERER
Role: R&D Chef, Designer
Hunter Gatherer is a restaurant and grocer with its own network of organic farms in China. The first location opened in 2014 to address growing concerns about personal health and the safety of food systems in China.
As the first hire on the core team, I helped to bring the restaurant from zero-to-one, grew with the team to over 150 employees and aided in launching a total of five restaurants in three years.
I coordinated with design teams, chefs, supply chain, marketing and finance to ideate, develop and produce new recipes and improvements to the restaurant chain offering. We worked diligently to systemize operations for fast-paced growth and implemented SOPs that would enable our food programs to scale-up smoothly and consistently.
