After helping start up two food ventures in Shanghai (Hunter Gatherer and Kate and Kimi), my collaborator Phoebe and I, previously known as the Burger Babes Shanghai, returned to Brooklyn with ideas from our adventures abroad.
From 9pm to 4am three nights a week during a hot 2015 summer, we repurposed a Bushwick bakery shop window to share our food concepts and stories inspired by places lived in or traveled to.
